West Bengal has received little rainfall since yesterday morning with Darjeeling receiving 15.7 mm of rains, the highest in the state, the Met department said.
There was little or no rain in other parts of the state.
Burdwan recorded the day's highest temperature at 35.2 degrees C whereas Kolkata recorded 34.7 degrees C during the day.
The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of rain for both Gangetic West Bengal and sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
