The West Bengal government has once again changed the dates for primary Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) examination in which around 23 lakh aspirants have enrolled.
State Chief Secretary Sanjoy Mitra said the exam has now been rescheduled to October 11 keeping in mind flood relief operations, by-elections and various other exams.
The decision was taken after a meeting with Education minister Partha Chatterjee, home secretary and a video conference with district administration and other officials.
Mitra said an investigation was on into the incident of missing question papers and the government will ensure transparency and confidentiality in the conduct of exams.
He said a detailed guideline will be published in all newspapers and requested the students to follow it.
Initially scheduled for August 30, TET exams were postponed to October 4 after some question papers went missing.
