WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,757.77 cr on NSE

The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,757.77 crore in 67 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 182-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:151216), traded at Rs 450.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.88 per cent, the 7.88 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs 200 crore at weighted yield of 7.78 per cent and the 8.79 per cent government securities maturing in CG2021 traded value at Rs 135 crore at weighted yield of 7.54 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 13,789.76 crore and the total number of trades was 341.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,461.97 crore as on June 16 while the lowest was Rs 1,757.77 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.04 per cent, 7.47 per cent, 7.56 per cent and 7.78 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.77 per cent, 6.76 per cent and 6.87 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 10,963.89 crore, representing 79.51 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 2,825.87 crore, representing 20.49 per cent, an NSE release said.
