WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,877.54 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,877.54 crore in 73 trades.

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.12 per cent, 8.27 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.96 per cent and the 182-days Treasury Bills (No:261216) traded at Rs 280.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.63 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 11,900.24 crore and the total number of trades was 375.

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,006.22 crore as on Aug 24, while the lowest was Rs 1,877.54 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.91 per cent, 7.05 per cent, 7.15 per cent and 7.25 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.53 per cent, 6.63 per cent and 6.67 per cent respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 8,559.04 crore, representing 71.92 per cent of the total traded value respectively,

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 3,341.20 crore, representing 28.08 per cent, an NSE release said.
