WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 2,595.00 on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,595.00 crore in 56 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 900.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.09 per cent, 364-day Treasury Bills (No:080617) traded at Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.66 per cent and the 8.40 per cent government securities maturing in CG2024 traded value at Rs 200.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.16 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 15,048.33 crore and the total number of trades was 444.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,714.10 crore as on Aug 9, while the lowest was Rs 2,196.02 crore as on Aug 8.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.85 per cent, 7.01 per cent, 7.14 per cent and 7.22 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days and 183-365 days was 6.66 per cent and 6.66 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 9,174.69 crore, representing 60.97 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 5,873.64 crore, representing 39.03 per cent, an NSE release said.
