WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 2,841.70 cr on NSE

The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,841.70 crore in 73 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 8.40 per cent government securities maturing in CG2024 traded value at Rs 500.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.70 per cent, the 7.83 per cent government securities maturing in CG2018 traded value at Rs 400.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.12 per cent and the 8.07 per cent government securities maturing in CG2017 traded value at Rs 400.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.03 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 13,009.48 crore and the total number of trades was 336.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 2,917.20 crore as on May 26 while the lowest volume amount was Rs 2,236.23 crore as on May 24.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.07 per cent, 7.63 per cent, 7.64 per cent and 7.80 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 91-182 days was 6.83 per cent.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 1,0584.18 crore, representing 81.36 per cent of the total traded value, respectively.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 2,425.30 crore, representing 18.64 per cent, an NSE release said.
