WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 2,843.22 crore on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,843.22 crore in 53 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 182-days Treasury bills (issue no.041214) traded at Rs 505.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.60 per cent, the 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.271114) traded at Rs 410.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.58 per cent and The 8.32 per cent government securities maturing in CG2032 traded at Rs 250.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.78 per cent, a NSE release said.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 8,978.87 crore and the total number of trades during the week was 209.

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was Rs 2,843.22 crore, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 1,461.55 crore.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.59 per cent, 8.71 per cent, 8.65 per cent and 8.74 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.42 per cent, 8.61 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.64 per cent for bills of 183-365 days tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was at Rs 6,346.24 crore, trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 2,632.63 crore, representing 70.68 per cent and 29.32 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release added.
