WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,040.41 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,040.41 crore in 63 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 450.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.12 per cent, the 91-days Treasury Bills (No:241116) traded at Rs 700.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.53 per cent and the 182-days Treasury Bills (No:201016) traded at Rs 220.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.51 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 16,761.41 crore and the total number of trades was 407.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 5,788.80 crore as on Aug 30, while the lowest was Rs 1,720.75 crore as on Aug 29.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.90 per cent, 7.03 per cent, 7.11 per cent and 7.16 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.54 per cent, 6.63 per cent and 6.65 per cent respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 12,822.26 crore, representing 76.50 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs3,939.15 crore, representing 23.50 per cent, an NSE release said.
