WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,388.70 on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,388.70 crore in 86 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 550.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.25 per cent, the 7.80 per cent government securities maturing in CG2021 traded value at Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.10 per cent and the 364-day Treasury Bills (Issue No:20317), traded at Rs 245.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.73 per cent, an NSE release said.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 20,605.96 crore and the total number of trades was 540.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 5,695.28 crore as on July 19, while the lowest was Rs 2,295.55 crore as on July 18, 2016.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.83 per cent, 7.16 per cent, 7.29 per cent and 7.48 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days and 183-365 days was 6.38 per cent and 6.73 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 14,719.42 crore, representing 71.43 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 5,886.54 crore,representing 28.57 per cent,an NSE release said.
