WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3104.25 cr on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3104.25 crore in 75 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 7.72 per cent government securities maturing in CG2025 traded value at Rs.1000.00 crore at weighted yield the 7.71 per cent, 7.88 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs.395.00 crore at weighted yield the 7.84 per cent and 8.12 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs.250.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.90 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 11150.68 crore, The total number of trades was 296.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3104.25 crore as on today, while the lowest volume amount Rs 2213.90 crore as on Sept 16.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.76 per cent, 7.96 per cent, 7.79 per cent and 7.95 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.34 per cent, it was 7.45 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.49 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 9386.83 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 1763.85 crore, representing 84.18 per cent and 15.82 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
