WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 996.90 crore on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 996.90 crore in 51 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
The 8.24 securities maturing in CG2033 traded value at Rs.200.00 crore at weighted yield the 8.15 per cent, the 8.24 securities maturing in CG2027 traded value at Rs.150.00 crore at weighted yield the 8.10 per cent and the 91-days Treasury bills (issue no.100915), traded at Rs.100 crore at weighted yield of 7.65 per cent.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 9030.11 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 267.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 2,608.35 crore as on June 23, while the lowest volume amount Rs 996.90 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.54 per cent, 7.98 per cent, 7.89 per cent and 8.08 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.62 per cent, it was 7.64 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.68 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 7,477.61 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 1,552.50 crore, representing 82.81 per cent and 17.19 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
