"We are coming out of the game disappointed. I think we should have had three points. We were the stronger team especially in the second-half. Our fitness from the players is the best I've seen so far. We could have finished the game by a mile but we walk away disappointed," the Scottish born Canadian international forward told reporters in the post match interaction.
"No disrespect to Kolkata but we were a better team. I think to my eyes and to many we're a better team on display especially in the second half. Okay, they created a few chances but our goalkeeper and manager (David James) did not have to make any big saves."
He further went on to praise ATK and said it's always difficult to put up your best on the hard artificial surface.
"They are a good team. They pass the ball well. They're a strong and powerful side and it's a tough surface to play on. When you're used to play on the grass to play on artificial surface is tough."
"It was a bit of scrappy and I don't think anything went as per the plan. I took the ball from Milagres' back heel. They did all the hard work and all I had to do was to put it in the net. I was fortunate it landed for me. To get my second goal and our first point was more important.
