"We need to execute our plans and will have to adapt to the wickets and play accordingly," Rampaul said today after his side suffered another defeat away from its citadel, this time at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here to Rajasthan Royals.
Bangalore lost by four wickets in the last over.
"It was a close match and perhaps we should have got a few more runs. That could have made the difference. The bowlers could have got some more runs to bowl.
Praising Man of the Match Sanju Samson, Rampaul said he had not seen the 18-year-old in action earlier.
"I had never seen him play but he came and batted well. He gave the momentum to Royals' innings."
Coming back to the side's lack of ability to win away games, Rampaul said, "The matches out of our den have been close enough but we could not win. One match went to the Super Over and a couple of others have gone to the last over. We could not play to our plan.
