The 'Glad You Came' singers believe they created the blueprint for the latest generation of young boy bands and claim everyone wants to copy them because they are the coolest, reported OK magazine.
Band member Tom Parker said, "What I'm proud of is that I feel like we started this whole generation of new boy bands not dancing. We were the first one there. We're the coolest boy band around."
Jay McGuiness added, "I think everyone saw us and though, that's the blueprint, we'll tidy it up a bit and then we'll make a lot of money."
The band also comprised of Max George, Nathan Sykes and Siva Kaneswaran, are also convinced they have changed the shape of the music industry and talent shows like 'The X Factor', as now boy bands are considered highly marketable.
Other hugely successful boy bands from the UK include JLS, and One Direction, who are currently widely regarded as the biggest pop group in the world.
