"It was a good pitch for batting but unfortunately we threw away too many wickets in the first 7 overs and that is why we lost. But we will try to play good cricket again (against) England and West Indies," the attacking opener told mediapersons, at post-match conference.
He admitted that 210 was a tough target to chase.
"The target was too much but wicket is good for batting. We had aggressive batsmen and that's why we tried playing positive cricket. Unfortunately, we lost too many wickets," said Shahzad.
"Chris Morris is aggressive but his aggression did not affect my rhythm. He bowled very well maintaining good line and length. I just missed a full length delivery."
