Before leaving for the shooting of Kapurush O Mahapurush, sharing the same name of the cult movie by Satyajit Ray but made by acclaimed contemporary director Aniket Chattopadhyay this time, Locket said, "I am a spiritual and religious person."

"I sometimes wonder if there are so many followers, such a long crowd of devotees who throng to their places of origin in a particular period of this year, why is there no end to the orgy of violence! The answer perhaps remains in following their words and that can be partially achieved by making biopics, truly religious by nature, on the lives and times of these people."
Asked if she meant films on the line of Moner Manush, made on the life and time of 19th century baladeer Lalon Fakir, the Balukabela.Com actor said, "Yes. There are mass followings of these figures across the state and outside."
"So the popularity issue remains to be tapped in feature film, with fictional elements off course to cater to the masses, but retaining the essence of biography."
Locket was talking to media at the website launch of lnternational Society of Lokenath-Devotees (ISLOKE), which would host the first ever international conclave in mid-December, flanked by elocutionist Satinath Mukhopadhyay.
"I am all for such films which can address the anomalies of society and minimize the atrocities against the perceived weaker sections including women," actress Nusrat Jahan said when asked at another event.
