Speaking to reporters here, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala, however, said that Chandy and others named in the report are "more than willing" to face trial in this connection "to expose" the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF).
Surjewala also accused the LDF of levelling "false and baseless allegations" against the Congress leaders from the southern state and sought to know why the report was allegedly detained for long.
Defending Chandy, Surjewala also said that the former's "integrity, sincerity and honesty" was beyond doubt.
Vijayan tabled the report earlier in the day at a special session convened for the purpose in state assembly. The commission also recommended a probe into various allegations raised in a letter written by Saritha under CrPC, IPC and other related rules, Vijayan said.
