"On our level we try to keep the security as tight as possible," IGP, Jammu Zone, Dilbag Singh said when asked about the security being beefed following Hyderabad blasts that left 16 dead and 117 injured.
He was talking to reporters on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of creative office of Hari Om Kailash Entertainment (Mumbai) and Ram Imagine Art (Jammu) here.
Pointing out that such incidents were not new to the state, Singh said they have to maintain the watch and ward system besides keeping a check on the infiltration.
"Apart from this we have two concerns, external concern -- to keep our borders tight and the internal concern -- watch and ward system should be made good, regular check should be kept on any suspicious person and people should also remain alert," he said.
