The members of the band said they would be happy to record some new songs provided they are good enough, reported Daily Star.
'ABBA' star Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 68, said she will not confirm anything because then all news stories will talk about it.
"It's difficult to talk about this because then all the news stories will be: 'Abba is going to record another song'. But as long as we can sing and play, then why not? I would love to, but it's up to Bjorn and Benny," she said.
Other members of the pop group that formed in 1972 are Agnetha Faltskog and Benny Andersson.
