Day 1 (28th April): Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh. Thundersquall with hailstorm is very likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura. Heat wave conditions are likely at a few places over Odisha and Bihar and at isolated places over Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch and Vidarbha. Hot day conditions are very likely at isolated places over north Konkan.

Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers are likely over south peninsula and northeast India. Isolated to scattered thundershowers likely over western Himalayan region and parts of northwest and central India. Parts of north and adjoining eastern India are likely to experience thundersqualls.
