Web application receives good response

The recently launched Web application for issuing Police Clearance Certificate by Delhi Police has received good response with more than 200 applications in its first week of operations.
"A total of 208 applications have been received and 117 certificates have been issued within the timeframe of seven days," said a senior police official.
The application was launched by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on August 8 at Vigyan Bhawan here.
An individual or a company can apply for Police Clearance Certificate by going on Delhi Police website and get the certificate within seven working days. User Manual and FAQs are available on Delhi Police website for the benefit of applicants.

Applicants can also approach Delhi Police at 011-23236040 on all working days from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM in case of any difficulty in accessing the service.
