Lashing out at the West Bengal's Trinamool regime for turning the state into a 'terror hub' by pursuing appeasement politics, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath today said the state government was playing with national security for the sake of vote bank politics.
"The state has been turned into a terror hub because of the vote bank and appeasement politics. Here all the terrorist organisations like HuJI, SIMI, Lashkar, Jamait and many others have set up their bases and the Burdwan blast has proved it," he told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.
"Today Bengal is the most insecure state of the country. Nobody here talks about the attack on Hindus in Bangladesh. The kind of reaction that is expected in Bengal to the genocide of Hindus taking place in Bangladesh is not being witnessed at all.
"But the Bangladeshi infiltrators are being protected by TMC-led state government. This should stop for the sake of national security," he said.
Adityanath also hit out at the esrtwhile Congress government at the Centre for 'trying to change the history and culture of India' in order to appease a particular community.
"The emotions of the Hindus are related to the issue of Ram Mandir. No one can just brush it off. Ram Mandir will come up in Ayodhya. The BJP in its manifesto has mentioned that by abiding the constitutional norms the Ram Mandir will come up in Ayodhya," he said.
Adityanath said there is a need for a national law against the cow slaughter, including in Kerala and West Bengal.
"It really pains to see how cow, which is treated as a mother in Hindu religion is being slaughtered mercilessly in Bengal," he added.
