A top army commander on Tuesday met Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Girish Chandra Murmu here and discussed the security management in the Union Territory, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said.
General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, Lt General Ravendra Pal Singh called on Murmu at the Raj Bhavan and the two discussed various important issues related to the security management in Jammu and Kashmir, the official said.
The LG also stressed on the high importance for maintaining close and effective synergy between the Army and other Security Forces for ensuring a secure environment for the people, the official said.
