Mercury continued to rise sharply in Rajasthan due to changes in upper air circulation with Jalore recording the highest maximum of 33.2 degree Celsius.
The local MeT office said cold conditions have subsided in the state due to the Western Disturbance affecting the upper air cyclonic circulation.
It would take another week for the cold condition to set in again, a MeT department official said.
Barmer recorded maximum of 30.4 degrees Celsius followed by Jodhpur (30.2), Churu (30.8), Jaipur (29.8) and Bikaner (29).
Mount Abu recorded the lowest in the state at 8 degrees C followed by Sikar 9.2 deg C.
An official of the Agriculture department said the sowing of wheat and barley would be delayed due to low moisture level.
At least eight trains of the Northwestern railways were running late due to foggy weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, its spokesperson Tarun Jain said.
The Met office predicted overcast skies in the state for the next 24 hours.
