Nolan, 41, who is the co-creator of the HBO show along with Lisa Joy, dropped hints the character of Dr Robert Ford played by the "Transformers" star, who might have died in the last episode of the show, may resurface in the next installment, reported DigitalSpy.
"I think the sacrifice he makes at the end of the first season is very real. I think there will be an opportunity to explore a little bit more of the backstory of how this park came to be, a little more of that story.
Earlier, Hopkins had said he had no idea if he will be making a comeback on the series, whose second season is scheduled to air next year.
