Sci-fi robopocalypse thriller "Westworld" has been renewed by HBO for a second season.
"Insecure" and "Divorce", which marks Sarah Jessica Parker's TV comeback, have also been renewed. All three shows will have another 10 episodes.
"I am thrilled to announce the pickup of our three fall series, all of which have distinctive, original voices. Critics and viewers alike have welcomed Westworld and Insecure, as well as the return of Sarah Jessica Parker to the network after 12 years with Divorce," Casey Bloys, President, HBO Programming announced.
Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Westworld is set in a technologically advanced, Western-themed amusement park populated by androids. The park gives access to high-paying visitors, who can do whatever they wish within the park, without fear of retaliation.
The show is averaging a gross audience of 11.7 million viewers, outperforming "Game of Thrones" and "True Detective" during similar times in their first seasons.
Bloys, however, said the show will arrive sometime in 2018.
'Divorce' and 'Insecure' are averaging 4.4 million and 3.2 million viewers, respectively.
All three shows currently air on Star World Premiere HD in India.
He also mentioned that wouldn't be any major changes in the storylines of Westworld, Insecure or Divorce in their second season.
"We're happy with the directions all shows are headed at the end of their seasons and into their second seasons... Divorce took on a subject which we know is fraught and that it is probably the most honest look at divorce and that comes with some dangers. It's a painful subject, it's a really black comedy, and it's not for everybody. It's important to put it out there."
On being asked about Game of Thrones' prequel talks with George RR Martin, he said, "I would say it's still kind of preliminary, ongoing talks. There are areas we are exploring but I wouldn't point to any one and say this is what we're going to do.
