Out of this, 67,53,964 metric tonnes has been procured by government procuring agencies on Minimum Support Price and the remaining 422 metric tonnes was mopped up by traders.
Over 20.08 lakh metric tonnes of wheat had been procured by the Food and Supplies Department while more than 29.50 lakh metric tonnes by Hafed, a spokesman of the department said.
Besides, over 6.96 lakh metric tonnes has been procured by Haryana Agro, more than 10.93 lakh metric tonnes by Haryana Warehousing Corporation and 5,800 metric tonnes of wheat was purchased by Confed.
Similarly, Fatehabad had recorded an arrival of over 6.73 lakh metric tonnes, Jind had recorded an arrival of over 6.05 lakh metric tonnes, Kaithal over 5.95 lakh metric tonnes, Hisar over 5.05 lakh metric tonnes, Kurukshetra over 4.74 lakh metric tonnes, Sonepat over 3.51 lakh metric tonnes, Bhiwani over 2.73 lakh metric tonnes.
Besides, Panipat recorded an arrival of over 2.48 lakh metric tonnes, Ambala over 2.29 lakh metric tonnes, Yamunanagar over 2.42 lakh metric tonnes, Rohtak over 1.99 lakh metric tonnes, Palwal over 1.82 lakh metric tonnes, Jhajjar over 1.23 lakh metric tonnes, Faridabad over 78,968 metric tonnes, Mewat 67,152 metric tonnes, Gurgaon 47,170 metric tonnes.
