Traders said besides reduced offtake by flour mills, adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly kept pressure on wheat prices.
Muted demand from consuming industries helped barley prices to end lower, they said.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,840-1,850 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by Rs 20 to Rs 1,900-1,930 per 90 kg.
Atta flour mills and maida also eased by Rs 30 each to Rs 1,000-1,010 and Rs 1,100-1,110 per 50 kg, respectively.
