Bajra, maize and barley also declined owing to subdued demand.
Traders said arrivals of new crop from producing areas against reduced offtake by flour mills mainly kept pressure on wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,515-1,525 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,525-1,530 per 90 kg.
Other bold grains, like bajra, maize and barley also eased to Rs 1,290-1,295, Rs 1,380-1,390 and Rs 1,330-1,340 against last close of Rs 1,295-1,305, Rs 1,395-1,400 and Rs 1,340-1,350 per quintal, respectively.
