Wheat declines on increased supply, reduced offtake

Wheat prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to increased supplies from producing areas against reduced offtake by flour mills.
Traders said increased supplies from producing areas against reduced offtake by flour mills mainly kept pressure on wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills)declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,500-1,505 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,505-1,510 per 90 kg.
Atta flour mills, maida and sooji were also eased to Rs 840-860, Rs 850-875 and Rs 980-1,000 against last close of Rs 875-885, Rs 940-950 and Rs 1020-1040 per 50 kg, respectively.

Wheat, MP (deshi) 2,100-2,300, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,500-1,505, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,505-1,510 Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 220, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 840-860 (50 kg), Maida 850-875 (50 kg) and Sooji 980-1,000 (50kg).
Basmati rice (Lal Quila) 10,400, Shri Lal Mahal 10,000, Super Basmati Rice, 9,500, Basmati common new 9,200-9,500, Rice Pusa-(1121) new 8,100-9,800, Permal raw 2,200-2,250, Permal wand 2,250-2,350, Sela 2,800-2,900 and Rice IR-8- 1,850-1,900, Bajra 1,300-1,310, Jowar yellow 1,475-1,500, white 2,300-2,500, Maize 1,400-1,405, Barley 1,300-1,310, Rajasthan 1,080-1,090.
