Traders said besides reduced offtake by flour mills, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts kept pressure on wheat prices.
In the national capital,wheat dara (for mills) and wheat MP (desi) fell by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,645-1,650 and Rs 2,010- 2,615 per quintal respectively. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 1,650-1,655 per 90 kg.
