Wheat futures edge up by 0.12% on speculative buying

Wheat prices were marginally up by 0.12 per cent to Rs 1,677 per quintal in futures trade today on speculative buying.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in October traded marginally up by Rs 2, or 0.12 per cent to Rs 1,677 per quintal with an open interest of 1,350 lots.
However, wheat for delivery in September contracts held steady at Rs 1,655 per quintal in 15,700 lots.
Analysts attributed the marginal rise in wheat futures to raising of bet s by speculators.
