Wheat inches up on scattered buying

In restricted activity, wheat prices inched up by Rs 5 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to scattered buying by flour mills.
However, other grains traded in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said scattered demand from flour mills helped wheat prices to trade marginally higher.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1,635-1,640 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,640-1,645 per 90 kg.
