Traders said fall in buying by flour mills and stockists against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on wheat and maize prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,565-1,570 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,570-1,575 per 90 kg. Maida also eased to Rs 925-930 against last close of Rs 930-945 per 50 kg.
Maize too traded lower by Rs 20 to Rs 1,200-1,210 per quintal.
