Traders said increased reduced offtake by flour mills against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly pushed up wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 30 to Rs 1,600-1,605 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1605-1610 per 90 kg.
On the other hand, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety weakened by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,700-8,200 and Rs 6,500-8,200 per quintal, respectively.
