Traders said increased offtake BY flour mills and stockists against tight supplies mainly influenced wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) and (deshi) rose further by Rs 30 each to Rs 1,690-1,695 and Rs 2,130-2,330 per quintal, respectively. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,695-1,700 per 90 kg.
Atta flour mills and maida gained Rs 10 each to Rs 885-895 and Rs 975-985 per 50 kg, respectively.
