Wheat prices eased by Rs 5 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today following adequate supplies against reduced offtake by flour mills.
However, other grains moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate supplies against reduced offtake by flour mills mainly helped wheat prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,560-1,565 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,565-1,570 per 90 kg.
