The white water rafting is conducted by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC). But since there were no rains , the activity had come to a halt.
Heavy rains are lashing Goa since the last two days following which water levels has increased in the rivers in the state.
A senior GTDC official said the white water rafting will commence in Mahadeyi river basin from September 21.
"The rainfall has revived during the last 48 hours and there is rise in the water level of Mahadeyi river. The water level is now conducive for rafting activities at least for the next ten days," the official added.
