Why S K Purkayastha won't be called for questioning?: Kunal

Suspended Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh today questioned why state DGP Surajit Kar Purkayastha would not be called for questioning in the Saradha scam when expelled Enforcement Directorate officer Manoj Kumar was summoned by the Kolkata Police for his link to the Rose Valley scam.
"Kolkata Police has summoned ED officer Manoj Kumar on the basis of a video footage. I have no comment on that issue. But if one officer is summoned by (Kolkata Police Commissioner) Rajeev Kumar, why Surajit (Kar Purkayastha) is being spared?" Ghosh asked.
Talking to reporters after coming out of the CBI office at the CGO complex, Ghosh also said, "There is a video footage of him (Purkayastha) attending Saradha agent programme where he was patronising Sudipta Sen and inspiring agents to work for Saradha.

Ghosh wanted to know "why Rajeev Kumar has not summoned him on the basis of that footage."
He (Purkayastha) is roaming free and investigation is being influenced. He (Purkayastha) should be arrested immediately," Ghosh said.
