Wi-Fi facility will be available at Jaipur Railway station within next four months as authorities endeavour to provide world class facilities to the passengers.
North Western Railway's GM Anil Singhal said that the process to provide international standards facilities at Jaipur station has beenstarted.
Singhal said a water recycle plant of 500 kl/day capacity and waste-to-energy plant for converting plastic waste to diesel are also proposed to be set up in Jaipur.
Singhal informed that few trains are now being given stoppage at Gandhi Nagar, Durgapura and Jagatpura railway stations in view of the increased passengers load.
Durgapura railway station is being developed as a satellite station, he said.
Satellite stations are developed in vicinity of main cities to divert the rail as well as road traffic to ease pressure on busy stations.
The officer said that special efforts have been made for cleanliness at stations and security in trains.
