Widespread rain in Kangra district

Kangra district received heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours with Gaggal receiving 166 mm of rain.
Palampur, Nagrota Suriyan and Jogindernagar received 111 mm, 145 mm and 158 mm respectively while Sujanpurtira received 155 mm, Nadaun 135 mm followed by Dehra Gopipur 118 mm, Palampur 111 mm, Guler 105 mm, Dharamshala 99 and Baijnath 80 mm.
Gohar received 105 mm rainfall, followed by Kheri 99 mm, Hamirpur 75 mm, Amb 71 mm, Sundernagar 65 mm, Bangana 64 mm and Sarahan 57 mm.
Weather department has predicted rain and thundershowers in most parts of the state for the next five days.
The highest temperature was recorded in Una at 38.6 degrees Celsius while Mashobra recorded the lowest temperature at 11.7 degrees Celsius.
