Widow found murdered in Thane

A 40-year-old woman was found dead in her house here this morning, police said.
Sunita Patil, a widow, had been living alone in a building in Balkum locality after her husband died some time ago, Inspector J S Kadam of Kapurbawdi Police Station said.
Patil was strangled using a mobile charging wire which was found tied around her neck, he said. Some of her relatives and in-laws reside in the same building.
"We have registered a murder case and further further investigation was on," he said.
