"I will take up the issue with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urging him to direct National Hydel Power Corporation (NHPC) to strictly adhere to their agreed conditions," Minister for Sports, Technical Education and Medical Education R S Chib said at a function in Reasi district yesterday.
NHPC and the state government had earlier signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide employment to local youths in power projects, he said.
He also hoped that the company would follow its commitment.
