TV actor Faisal Khan, best known for his performance in "Bharat Ka Veer Putra-Maharana Pratap", says dancing and acting are not enough to lead him anywhere in life and he will continue studying and focusing on his career depending upon the offers.
Faisal, who is the winner of the "Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2", has cleared his class 10th and will be doing a three months' course for standard 11th.
"In 10th class I scored less marks than expected from me. That was not because of my working schedule, but due to my poor health. Acting and dancing alone will not take me anywhere, it is important to study, to have a degree," Faisal told PTI.
"Education is important. When I was very small I wanted to become a CA, then I wanted to become software engineer and after doing dancing and acting I want to explore only this as a career," he said.
The actor considers superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan as his idols and wants to explore both acting and dancing like them.
"I idolise Shah Rukh Khan Sir and Hrithik Roshan Sir. Shah Rukh sir started from scratch and today he is the King of Bollywood. I would like to be like him... Reach great heights in my career," Faisal said.
"Hrithik sir is a great dancer and actor. I get inspired by them. I want to dance and act. I am open to doing films and TV shows whichever is interesting at that moment, depending on the offer," he said.

Faisal is now back to dancing and is excited to be part of dance reality show "Jhalak Dhikla Jaa", which will be judged by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Shahid Kapoor. The multi-talented Ganesh Hedge and dancer-actress Lauren Gottleib will give technical expertise as 'Dance Gurus'.
"I had got an offer for 'Jhalak Dhikla Jaa' earlier as well, but couldn't take it up. Now I have the time and I also want to challenge myself as a dancer," he said.
"I did 'Dance India Dance' in 2012, that time I used to rehearse for 8-10 hours a day. Later, I got busy with "Maharana Pratap" so I used to rehearse for two hours or so," Faisal said.
"Now that I am doing "Jhalak Dhikla Jaa", I try to rehearse for at least 4-5 hours. I do hip-hop and other western dance forms, I would like to learn contemporary dance," he said.
Hosted by actor Manish Paul, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" will go on air from July 11 every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM on Colors Channel.
