Will fill vacancy in Modi govt caused by Sonowal's move: Shah

Amid speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle, BJP chief Amit Shah today said the vacancy caused by resignation of Sarbananda Sonowal, who has taken over as Assam Chief Minister, will be filled but a date has not been decided yet.
"We will do it. A date has not been decided yet," he said when asked if the party was considering a replacement for Sonowal, who was Sports and Youth Affairs Minister at the Centre.
However, when a direct question was put to him about whether a Cabinet reshuffle was in the offing, Shah said they had not thought over it. "We would think about it later.
