"We will protest against the Land Acquisition Bill if our amendments are not included," Kisan Morcha (BJP's agrarian wing) national president, O P Dhankar told reporters here today.
The party has demanded land be returned to its original owners if the project for which it was acquired, did not come up within five years and land should be given on lease for projects for which it was acquired to prevent further sale.
Dhankar further said farmers should suitably be compensated for land acquired by "land mafia".
"Original land owners should be compensated for land bought by land mafia at cheap rates and later sold at a premium after the project kicks off," he said.

On Food Security Bill, Dhankar said, "without giving adequate compensation to farmers, the Bill has the potential to break the country's food chain."
"When a bag of grain will be available at Rs 200 under the Food Security Bill, then why will a farmer spend six months to grow it at a cost of Rs 1,400," Dhankar wondered.
Kisan Morcha will hold farmers' rights march in Punjab and Haryana from September 1 to 2 and submit memorandums to Punjab and Haryana Governors, he said.
"A national charter of rights for farmers has been prepared which will include right of profit in crops, security rights in times of calamities, right to maximum loan limit and others," he added.
