The Chief Minister was addressing participants during wrap up session of a state level workshop on Utilization of Space Technologies in the Developmental Planning of Haryana organised by Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC) and Science and Technology Department here today.
While exhorting the officers of the State government, the Chief Minister said that every department should take the call to adopt geo spatial governance for the development of the state.
He also directed Principal Secretary Science and Technology Department Sumita Misra to start training programme for the same, according to an official release here.
The Chief Minister urged the National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO that new technology should be used so that real type data could be made available to the state government on low cost.
Khattar said that State government is preparing drafts of FOODNET, State Resident Data Base, National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP) where space technologies would be used in the developmental planning of the state.
