Punjab AAP leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira today said the party legislators have decided to wait for an "appropriate time" for holding discussion on the possibility of forming alliance with other parties for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Following a meeting of Punjab AAP MLAs on several issues, another party leader and the legislator from Sangrur, Aman Arora, said discussion on the possibility of an alliance for general elections was still "premature".

"All the party MLAs said in the meeting that it is not the right time to hold discussion (on alliance). Let the appropriate time come then we will discuss (about it)," AAP MLA and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Sukhpal Singh Khaira here today.

Arora said, "When our leadership in Delhi asks about our views and then we will tell them after holding a discussion."
Asked had he received any response from AAP leader Manish Sisodia on his complaint against Balbir Singh, Khaira said, "These are party's internal affairs. Whatever I had to say on this, I have said that. I don't have to say anything more on this before media today. The issue is in the knowledge of our party and I will wait for whatever inquiry or anything they initiate in this."
