"Evergreen" hitmaker Will Young is paying for the care and upkeep of an orphaned Shetland pony that was rescued by a sanctuary for ponies.
The 37-year-old singer has named the foal Sheila and felt compelled to help the animal after learning of her plight, reported Female First.
"I'm adopting horses and a Shetland pony foal I am naming Sheila! A poor orphan who was found next to her dead mum... rescued by these amazing people, who desperately need support," Young wrote on Twitter.
