Winmagic bets big on healthcare, hospitality sectors

Data security solution provider WinMagic is betting big on verticals like healthcare and hospitality sectors in India to cash in on the opportunities emerging from Digital India initiative.
The company, which gets about five per cent of its revenues from India, gets a majority of its business in India from verticals like banking, financial services and insurance, manufacturing, telecom and IT/IT-enabled services.

Nucleus Software appoints Ashish Nanda as CFO * Nucleus Software Exports today said it has appointed Ashish Nanda as its Chief Financial Officer.
"The Board of Directors have appointed Ashish Nanda as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, a Whole Time Key Managerial Personnel of the Company in terms of Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with relevant Rules," it said in a filing to the BSE.

* Pune-based startup Hugefly Technologies, an eCommerce personalisation and recommendation platform, today said it has raised an undisclosed sum in funding.
The angel funding has been received from Mayank Singhal (Associate Director at Temasek Holdings), Mohit Gulati (co-founder, Oliphans Capital) and Raj Iyer (CEO and CMD, icustommadeit.Com).
Set up in January this year by Dhruv Chaudhari and Amit Chaudhari, Hugefly offers solutions to eCommerce companies to help reduce search time on the platform, offer relevant and personalised search results across users and create targetted and customised recommendations on real-time basis.

Metro Cash & Carry to open second wholesale outlet in Delhi * German retailer Metro Cash & Carry today announced to open its second wholesale outlet in Delhi, taking its total count to 19 in India.
Slated to open in mid-October 2015, Metro's new wholesale centre will be at Seelampur in East Delhi.
